The effects of reviewing class notes for deaf and hearing students.

چکیده

A BS'TP ACT Fifty-three deaf and thitty-three hearing c liege. students observed a videotaped lecture followed by a 15. min te period, of reviewing prepared class notes. Two days, later, half of each group again, reviewed the notes before taking a test measuring learning cutcomei in four, areas: recall,. recognition, concept acquisition, and ptoblepr solving. Multivariate anq.ysi6 of variance showed that repeated review was 'much more helpful to deaf -students than to hearing students on 'the recall and recognition ,measures but not on the higher level learning outcomes. It was furthep showy that hearing students outperformed deaf studdnts on each of the foul. dependent , measures(Author)
